the 2024 Conservation Celebration! 

Join us on Thursday, August 8, 2024, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Blowing Rock's historic and beautiful Gideon Ridge Inn, to support CTNC’s mission of building resilient communities across North Carolina! 

Heavy hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be served compliments of our hosts, Cindy and Cobb Milner, owners of the beautiful Gideon Ridge Inn.

Join the Conservation Celebration Host Committee 

Last year alone, our sponsors helped us raise nearly $40,000 that supported, among other things, our initial push to expand Jeffress Park along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Together, we permanently protected an additional 400 acres, doubling the conserved land in that area. That success led nearby landowners to approach us about partnering with them to create conservation plans for their properties. The funds we raise through the 2024 Conservation Celebration will support us in exploring these new conservation opportunities along the Parkway and will allow us to continue to expand our efforts to implement conservation-based resilience across the whole state. 

This year we have introduced a Lead Sponsorship level. With four tickets included, this sponsorship level is a great opportunity for you to share the Conservation Celebration experience with your neighbors, friends or family members while also providing additional critical funding to advance conservation in North Carolina.  

Host Levels: 

• Lead Sponsors: $4,000: This level includes Conservation Celebration tickets for 4, inclusion in Executive Director’s opening remarks, print recognition at the event, special thank you gift, and name recognition in the printed invitation.   

 

• Patron Sponsors: $2,000: This level includes Conservation Celebration tickets for 2, print recognition at the event, special thank you gift, and name recognition in the printed invitation. 

 

• Host Sponsors: $1,000: This level includes Conservation Celebration tickets for 2, print recognition at the event, thank you gift, and name recognition in the printed invitation. 

 

• Supporter Sponsors: $500: This level includes Conservation Celebration tickets for 2, print recognition at the event, and name recognition in the printed invitation. 

 

• Single Ticket: $150: This level includes Conservation Celebration tickets for 1.

 

Your support is crucial as we continue to grow our efforts to protect the Blue Ridge Parkway in a way that builds resilient communities in Western North Carolina and across the state. This reception provides a great opportunity for us to share updates on how we can continue to work together to conserve Parkway land, build community resilience, and protect our air, water, forests, and viewsheds.  

Because we have so much to celebrate this year, we anticipate that this event will sell out in sponsorships. Sponsors who commit before May 29, 2024, will have their names included in the printed invitations being mailed to CTNC’s friends and supporters. All event sponsors will be listed on signage prominently displayed at the reception.
