the 2025 Conservation Celebration! 

Join us on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Blowing Rock's historic and beautiful Gideon Ridge Inn, to support CTNC’s mission of building resilient, just communities across North Carolina! 

Heavy hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be served compliments of our hosts, Cindy and Cobb Milner, owners of the beautiful Gideon Ridge Inn.

Join the Conservation Celebration Host Committee 

Our sponsors collectively raised over $55,000 last year. Because of this strong support, 

Conservation Trust for North Carolina now protects over 37,000 acres of land in 23 counties across our state. In 2023-24, we successfully transferred over 408 acres to the National Park Service for the benefit of the public, brought 68 new acres under protection at Grassy Creek Springs, and expanded the easement at Wildacres Retreat to now include over 1,100 acres of protected land. 

Three loans totaling $1,616,980 and two grants totaling $90,572 are being leveraged by our land trust partners in Western North Carolina to facilitate the permanent protection of additional land. 

Our 24 Resilience Corps NC service members worked in 48 counties across the state during service year 2023-24, bringing the capacity these communities needed to help build flood resilience, decrease urban heat, mitigate wildfire threats, and increase enthusiasm for conservation. 

We invite you to think big with us in 2025. We are introducing a new sponsor level, the Conservation Champion. Choosing to commit at this $10,000 sponsor level will support North Carolina’s conservation work and urgent need for greater flood resilience at a time when there are fewer federal funds available for these important initiatives. North Carolina needs Conservation Champions to ensure that the pace of conservation doesn’t falter.

Blue Ridge Leader: $5,000: This level includes Conservation Celebration tickets for 4, inclusion in Executive Director’s opening remarks, print recognition at the event, special thank you gift, and name recognition in the printed invitation.  (*Fair market value: $700) 

 

Patron Sponsors: $2,500: This level includes Conservation Celebration tickets for 2, print recognition at the event, special thank you gift, and name recognition in the printed invitation.  (*Fair market value: $400) 

 

Host Sponsors: $1,250: This level includes Conservation Celebration tickets for 2, print recognition at the event, thank you gift, and name recognition in the printed invitation.  (*Fair market value: $350) 

 

Supporter Sponsors: $650: This level includes Conservation Celebration tickets for 2, print recognition at the event, and name recognition in the printed invitation.  (*Fair market value: $300) 

 

Because we have so much to celebrate this year, we anticipate that this event will sell out in sponsorships. Sponsors who commit before May 1, 2025, will have their names included in the printed invitations being mailed to CTNC’s friends and supporters. All event sponsors will be listed on signage prominently displayed at the reception.
